  same here, I use old school windows !

  Ok, for all of you out there, I found out how to make it not stop, you right click the file, and choose edit, it should open in note pad, look @ the end, it should say pause, if not, add pause. but now when I activate it after ive added pause, it goes well, it doesnt close…BUT now it says “error can’t find message file in” blah blah blah and a second error that simply says “Aborting”, and then it says press anykey to continue and whn I press any key it closes lol, this might work for u or not.

  omg!! look @ this now, im kinda stuck @ 2:51 , when I do the EXACT same thing u do, not to mention I have the trial version, it says
  error:Access denied for user root@localhost

  I can not complete the UDB only cause the tortoiseSVN take too long to download the file.. i have waited over three hours and then i stopped downloading at 132 mbs is there a faster way to get the latest UDB..
  I have installed latest patch 3.2.2
  everyting works normally so far

  over two hours to download 76 mb of a 200 mb file im talking about the udb this sucks guy
  dont reply with get a better connection i got high speed and triplecore with 4gb ram this torotisSVN is terrible there has to be a faster way of getting the new udb from who ever make it. …not happy

  öh i done everything that this video’s editor, but something is wrong. when i am start to starter.bat the mangos is crashed and the restarter try start but nothing :S anybody pls help if u can :$

  It will when the mangos dev team finishes the 3.2.2 version and makes it available. As of yet the latest “stable” release is 3.1.3.

  I’ve compiled mangos many time before.. Including AHbot and ScriptDev2.
  I downloaded newest Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition. As well as SDK and 3.5 Framework.
  I cannot compile with new VC and SDK.
  ========== Build: 0 succeeded, 11 failed, 0 up-to-date, 0 skipped ==========
  I’ve even ran the SDK configuration.. I’ve even attempt to set path manually in VC.
  So until I can actually get VC to compile anything.. I’m hosed.

  Yes I’m replying to myself. lol
  For anyone else that has had this wonderful issue. I Finally found the answer, wrestled with this forever.
  The error is “Project : error PRJ0003 : Error spawning ‘cl.exe’.”

  Open VC++ 2008. Open Tools > Import and Export Settings
  Then reset them. It worked like a charm for me!
  Btw good guide, I was stopping here to see if I had missed something in the compiling with VC++ 2008.

  At 2:50 you need to give a password and such, but when i done all that and its the same as in the video i get an error:
  Error No. 1045
  Access denied for user ‘root@localhost’
  (using password YES)
  can you help mw out of it?

  I haven’t been working that long with MaNgos but don’t you need to extract the trunk from the mangos SVN and extract the ScriptDev2 from another SVN and then compile them both together? Because without ScriptDev2 MaNgos won’t contain all the creature scripts and all that
